My husband and I were lucky enough to be in attendance at your talk last night and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it, Ms. Schafer! You're not only a VERY entertaining speaker (my husband likened you to Ellen Degeneres in your energy & enthusiasm) but also so encouraging and informative. We've both been reading and following the guidance (or trying! ;)) in your book and to have it reiterated and reinforced last night was fantastic. Our two young boys (almost 3 yrs & 5 yrs) are great kids but we've been having the "normal" power struggles with them. Your book/techniques have now given us a pro-active & family-based way of working WITH them, instead of against. We know they are our future and we owe it to them to invest in them.
So a BIG thank you for caring so much about kids so that we can be better parents. I've recommended your book to any/all of my friends with kids!
