Can you say "no" guilt free? Well, I have been asked to find a family who might like to help create a special feature piece for CBC's The National. Here is the note they sent me to pass along:
Hi there:
I'm a producer with CBC News The National. We are working on a television special ahead of the holiday season. Our focus is on changing shopping habits, specifically helping families reduce their holiday spending.
One of the biggest challenges parents face in these tough economic times is learning how to say no to their children. We're looking for families who need some help saying no. We'll put them in touch with a parenting expert, and help them find ways to curb their spending, while keeping their children happy.
