If you are up watching the tube in the morning ( August 29th) you can catch me on Breakfast Television. I am going to be talking about the seminar series I am participating in with my friends Kathy Buckworth, Ann Douglas and Erica Ehm.

We are just ONE of the line up for this new hot travelling road show of parenting experts. Its a perfect storm:

Bring together new parents with children 0 - 4yrs, in their own community ( becuase who the hell is gonna travel with babes in tow) and give them 4 weeks of seminars with Canada's leading experts, and then when all the moms have made friends, asked their questions and learned from the best, THEN, let them loose on a weekend long consumer trade show to do some retail therapy with their new wisdom. What's it called? Parent's Canada Babes and Tots on the Go Show, presented by Sobeys.

Its a month long extravaganza. We'll be in Missisauga in September, Ajax in October and London in November.

Boys and Their Electronic Games.

I recently posted on children who live in books. What about boys and their love of electronic games? We seem far less appreciative of time spent with noses in handheld DXs than in paperbacks. When is it too much? Can it be addictive?
