This is a photo of me and my brothers with our dad, taken at our family cottage in Muskoka. As some of you know, my dad (Dick Knight ) passed away on April 21st due to complications from pneumonia.
I am thankful for all the support I have received and by the many notes and emails people have sent sharing their memories and sending condolences.
I have felt I couldn't post my next parenting article without recognizing my own dad here. My brothers and I were raised using all the principles I share here on my site. My father and grandmother Edith Dewey where the founders of the Alfred Adler Institute of Ontario, which become the Adler School where I earned my Masters degree in Counselling. I owe so much of what I know and teach from my dad. I am including his obituary for those who care to know more about this gentle giant.
