A question. I don't know whether to die on this mountain. My 5 1/2 year old daughter has been asked to be a flower girl in my husband's neice's wedding. Apparently, the way it was presented to her was not appealing (read: rejected)--I believe walking up the aisle is intimidating to her and she doesn't want to do it. Do we push her to do it? Do we advocate for her; i.e. will get dressed up, but, don't expect any aisle walking? We (the parents) are on opposing sides. The bride is insulted--which is pulling at my husband's heart strings. Thanks.
